Education

We have years of experience in the practice of school law.  Our current focus is to advocate for children in the school setting.  Our school law practice centers on:

• Student Discipline

Immigration

We have assisted individuals with applications for Citizenship and for Lawful Permanent Residence, among others.  We have also fought in the Immigration Court to withhold deportations.

Litigation

We have a wide range of experience in litigation, which includes practice in the areas of employment, personal injury, contract, and traffic, among others.  

We have a particular interest in Civil Rights cases, especially those involving Constitutional rights, including 1983 cases. Our employment practice is also quite robust, with recent experience representing both employees and employers.

We have served as local counsel for out-of-state clients in need of discovery assistance, as in proceedings to have subpoenas issued, served, and enforced. 

General

Since opening The Rhoads Firm, LLC, Mr. Rhoads has also assisted clients considerably with the drafting and review of contracts, as well as with dissolution and winding down of small businesses.
